How do you set up and flush the L'OR BARISTA coffee machine before first use?
Before first use, make sure to remove all protective packaging from the machine. If this is your first time using your L'OR BARISTA machine—or if it hasn't been used in a while—follow the steps below to prepare it for use. This applies to all L'OR BARISTA models, including the Original, Sublime, and Absolu.
1. Remove the water tank and fill it completely;
2. Replace the water tank correctly on the machine and place a bowl under the spout.
3. Press the on/off button - The on/off button will flash slowly to indicate that the machine is heating up.
4. Press the lungo button to start dispensing water from the water tank.
Water will flow from the spout.
Note: When the internal water circuit is empty, the machine hums. This hum is less loud when water is flowing through the nozzle. This noise is normal.
5. Once all the buttons remain lit, the machine is ready.

The machine automatically recognizes the capsule size and adjusts the amount of water accordingly.
How to use the Enjoy Over Ice with the L'OR BARISTA Absolu
Fancy an iced coffee at home? The L'OR BARISTA Absolu makes it effortless with its Enjoy Over Ice function. Just fill a glass with ice, check the water tank, and insert a L'OR BARISTA XXL capsule.
Press the snowflake button, pick your cup size, and let the machine work its magic. Brewed at a lower temperature for extra smoothness, it’s the perfect way to cool down and refresh.
How to use the Intensity Boost with the L'OR BARISTA Absolu
Craving something stronger? The Intensity Boost function on the L'OR BARISTA Absolu enhances flavour for a richer, more powerful coffee. Make sure there’s water in the tank, insert your chosen capsule, and press the coffee bean button.
Select your cup size and enjoy a deeper, more intense taste—crafted to bring out the very best in every brew.
