How to prepare a coffee with L'OR BARISTA®?
Preparing an espresso, lungo, or ristretto with your L'OR BARISTA is very easy. With just the press of a button, you can enjoy premium espresso from our specially designed coffee capsules. Simply select your desired coffee size and enjoy it almost immediately. The machine automatically recognizes the capsule size and adjusts the amount of water accordingly.

Set the right height
Adjust the drip tray depending on the type of cup or glass you’re using. For short drinks like espressos or ristrettos, use the standard height. If you're using a taller glass or mug for drinks like long black or milky coffees, remove the drip tray lid and the deeper tray, then pop the lid back in at a lower level.
Enhance your coffee moment
Coffee always tastes best when it's hot. To get the full flavour, warm up your cups and the machine first. Press the espresso button (with no capsule inside) to flush some hot water through into your cups. Let it sit for a few seconds, pour it out, and then you’re ready to brew.
Make your coffee just the way you like it
Prefer your coffee longer or stronger? You can easily set the ideal water volume: press and hold the button for your chosen drink (ristretto, espresso, or lungo) until it starts flashing. Release it to start brewing, and press again when your preferred amount has been poured. Your L’OR BARISTA® will remember this setting for next time.

What distinguishes L'OR Espresso single capsules from L'OR BARISTA® double espresso capsules?
The new L'OR BARISTA® double espresso capsules are exclusively compatible with the L'OR BARISTA® coffee machine. These new, larger capsules contain twice as much coffee so you can prepare two espressos at once, or a double espresso.
Which capsules work with my L'OR BARISTA® coffee machine?
The L'OR BARISTA® coffee machine was created to work with L'OR classic espresso capsules and L'OR BARISTA® double espresso capsules, as well as Nespresso®* capsules and most other compatible capsules, such as Café Royal®*, Carte Noire®, Grand'Mère®*, illy®*, Lavazza®*, Senseo®, and most supermarket brands. *Brand owned by a third party unrelated to JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS
How do I register my L'OR BARISTA® coffee machine?
To register your L'OR BARISTA® coffee machine, simply go to, create an account, and follow the registration steps. In particular, you will need to enter the serial number of your L'OR BARISTA® coffee machine. The serial number is printed on a self-adhesive label, at the top of the water tank, as well as under the machine. After registration, you will receive an email with your £20 coffee credit.the website
